NEW TIMETABLE FOR 2026!
We have revised our timetable and are excited to offer long days for our four year old kinder program, and we will increasing our three year old kinder program to 15 hours per week.
The 3-year-old program will run across three days, with each child attending for 15 hours per week (5 hours per session). The 4-year-old program runs across two days (7.5 hours per session), with each child attending for 15 hours per week.

We commence term one with a staggered start method. This gives the educators:
- time to get to know your child and listen to your child.
- time to be with a child who is not comfortable being left.
- time to encourage children to be aware of others and treat them with respect.
- time to explain age appropriate self-help skills.
- time to establish routines – e.g. bathroom, snack time, pack up time.
These staggered session times for your child are detailed on the orientation timetable included in your welcome pack.
Fees
The Victorian Government Free Kinder initiative is available at Dr Stanley Cochrane Memorial Kindergarten. This means that our kinder program is free for our three- and four-year-old classes in 2025. A $100 deposit is required to secure your child’s enrolment.
